Conventional NDT
Conventional NDT uses methods below to evaluate the properties of material, components or structures without causing damage, and has served as a starting point in the industry for a long time.
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - The most popular and effective method in the industry, which evaluates wall thickness and wall loss along with detection of internal weld flaws. Level II & Level III Technicians equiped with ultrasonic flaw detectors by Olympus and Sonatest enable MAG-Pi to be the leading service provider in the CIS region with credible reputation and numereous satisfied customers.
- Radiography Testing (RT) - Using Gamma or X-Ray detects damage, corrosion, wall thickness, and welding imperfections on field and piping welds, investment casting, and pressure vessels. MAG-Pi has all required licenses to import and operate Radiographic testing equipment in the CIS region.
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) - Detects surface and near-surface cracks in ferrous materials. The simplest yet effective method, allowing for a quick surface inspection with low costs and high accuracy results. MAG-Pi uses German and UK consumables and equipment to maintain high quality standart.
- Dye Penetrant Surface Techniques (PT) - Detects surface-breaking cracks and defects. Method proven to be a solid base for any inspection projects.
